Accounts Assistant

My client based in Bishop Auckland is looking for a full time Accounts Assistant to join their busy team. They are within the professional services sector, and have multiple offices across the North East.You will be working alongside an Accounts team that reports to the Head of Finance.Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:Payroll preparationAssisting with VAT returnsBank ReconciliationsTaking paymentsPurchase ledger dutiesMaintaining their management systemAssisting with management reportsSupporting the accounts team in adhoc dutiesDesirable/preferable qualities:Previous experience in a similar position - training and support offered for the right personExperience using Xero softwareExperience within the legal sector beneficial but not essentialThis is a full time, office based position.Benefits include:Generous, competitive salary based on experience25 days annual leave plus closure in the Christmas/New Year period and Bank HolidaysAuto enrol pensionFor more information on this role, please speak to Nicola Walker at Si Recruitment.
