About The Role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, the responsibilities in this role will include but not be limited to the following:
Credits processingMonth end processingBalance Sheet reconciliationsBank and general ledger reconciliationsWeekly payroll (wages) administrationFixed Assets & leases maintenanceTax (GST, FBT, NRWT) preparationSupport for Accounts Payable and Accounts receivableOther ad-hoc duties as requiredAbout You
You'll have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce and will ideally be working towards your CA or CPA qualification. You hold 2 years of accounting experience within a similar position. You're someone who takes ownership of every bit of work that you take on, and have an inquisitive nature, always looking at ways things can be done better. You consider yourself to be a reconciliations specialist and have a high level of attention to detail. Strong written/verbal communication is a must. An understanding of IFRS and a background in a manufacturing business is preferred but not essential.
