We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Accounts & Financial Services administrator starting 6th January for approximately 3 months, with the possibility of extension.In this role, you will be responsible for managing the finances of residents in a mental health facility, processing allowances, and reconciling various financial transactions. If you have strong financial skills, enjoy working with people, and are comfortable in a sensitive environment, we'd love to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Maintain and accurately record patient accounts in Infusion.Process all patient withdrawals and manage patient valuables according to policy.Daily balancing and reconciliation of patient trust accounts.Process petty cash transactions and weekly Work Rehabilitation petty cash.Weekly processing of Work Rehabilitation wages.Provide allowances for residents and staff as required.Ensure compliance with relevant statutory and regulatory requirements.About You: You will have:3+ years of relevant work experience or secondary education.Experience in cash handling, account reconciliation, and processing banking deposits.Ability to comfortably interact with both residents and staff in a mental health facility setting.Knowledge and practical application of Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles.Strong IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office and finance systems (Excel, Word, Outlook, Infusion).A current driver's license with no driving convictions.High attention to detail and the ability to work methodically in a team or individually.Working Hours:Full-time hours (7:30 AM – 4:00 PM), but we are open to considering reduced hours (.8 FTE) for the right candidate.Desired Qualifications:A relevant financial, banking, or accounting qualification.If you're ready to make an impact and thrive in a dynamic role, apply now!
