Administrative Assistants (Administration & Office Support) Ean Brown Partners Limited is a reputable accounting and advisory practice based in Whangarei. We're locally owned and operated and pride ourselves on our service delivery. We love supporting local businesses in their journey to success. Our clients range from small businesses to large commercial operations. The role: This is a 9am to 3pm position, Monday to Friday with some flexibility. The Accounts Administrator/Receptionist is responsible for management of client billing, accounts payable and receivable, reception duties and general administration tasks. You will be reporting to the Team Manager and Director, and will work alongside the small but fantastic team of accountants and administrative staff. Your ability to prioritise tasks and effectively manage your time will ensure the smooth running of a range of administration tasks in this varied role. Your responsibilities will include: Management of client billing Management of accounts payable and receivable Frontline customer service – reception, dealing with client phone and email queries Companies Office administration for our clients – updating company information and filing annual returns Commercial property management – dealing with property owners and tenants, managing maintenance work General administrative support What do you need to join our team? Experience in accounts payable, administration, and fee management Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and understanding of accounting software Track record of excellent customer service Familiarity with other office software like Adobe Acrobat High level of organisation skills with the ability to self-manage and prioritise various workloads and meet deadlines Accuracy and attention to detail Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability and willingness to work both autonomously and with a team Ability to identify where you need help or improvement and the confidence to ask What additional skills would be desirable? General accounting understanding and experience Experience working as a receptionist Experience using MYOB or Xero Our team enjoys a quiet, happy working environment and a healthy work/life balance, as well as the support to pursue personal and career development opportunities.
