Are you an experienced Accounts and Administration professional looking for your next challenge?
Pushbikes is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our small team and lead our office and accounts for the business as a whole. The position is located at our head office in Papanui. The role is up to 15 hours per week, ideally spread over 3 days. Preferred schedules include either Monday through Wednesday or Tuesday through Thursday, with flexible hours to suit your availability.
What the job involves :
Perform day-to-day office tasks to ensure smooth operations.
Reconciliation of store bankings and payments across all locations and online channels.
Preparation and analysis of sales data for all branches.
Inputting data into Xero from our internal systems, and creation of invoices between branches.
Accounts payable, including supplier invoice and account reconciliation and management.
Maintain clear and effective communication within our internal team and with external suppliers.
Supporting recruitment of new staff, onboarding processes, and other HR administration.
Completion of Payroll and PAYE filings.
Preparation and management of GST returns.
Providing other administrative support for other tasks.
What we're looking for :
Proven experience in accounts and administration roles.
Proficiency with Xero, payroll programs, and spreadsheet applications.
Strong understanding of employment regulations.
Strong computer skills and familiarity with office software; we currently use Google Enterprise.
Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
Ability to work as part of a small team.
Develop and maintain a strong relationship with the business owner.
