For over 40 years our client has been manufacturing machinery to support New Zealand's meat processing industries.
As well as their own bespoke product development and manufacturing capabilities, they also represent quality imported lines to their customers across New Zealand, Australia, Europe, North America, and Asia.
The Role:
On their behalf we are looking for a Part Time Administration / Accounts person to join their East Tamaki based team, for approximately 20 hours a week, spread over 3-5 days.
(Ideally, they would prefer the hours to be over 4-5 days, but this can be discussed).
This role will support the accounts and administration function of the business and will be responsible for the day-to-day finance activities of the business.
This involves bank reconciliations, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable responsibilities, as well as a range of other accounting, reporting and administration support duties.
Skills/Experience Required: Must have previous Accounts / Office Administration experienceGood overall accounting skills to trial balance, as well as solid administration skillsStrong PC and systems experience.
Confident use of MS Word, Excel, and PowerPointAny experience using Sade Evo or other accounting software.Proactive, organised work habits.Clear phone manner for communication with customers, suppliers, and external accountants.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in your work.Reliable, trustworthy, and committedGreat verbal and written communicationPiles of initiative and a can-do attitude.
Willing to pitch in where needed.Current full driver's licenseIdeally, live close to East TamakiFor the right person, this role could grow in terms of increased hours and responsibilities.
