Reporting to the Finance Manager and working as part of a small finance team, this role will encompass a range of insurance and accounts processing, but with time and once you build your knowledge, there will be plenty of scope to learn and develop other new accounting and reporting skills.
Also the business is implementing new business information systems so there will be a focus on how day to day processes can be further streamlined and efficiencies gained, not just at a head office level, but also across the branch network.
In seeking applications, we are ideally seeking candidates who have strong backgrounds in other accounts/finance based processing roles.
While previous insurance sector experience is a definite advantage, if you have those strong data processing & reconciliation skills, with good attention to detail, there will be support and training available, so for the right person I would promote this as a good learning opportunity.
