The company currently operates in Ready Mixed Concrete, Transport, Fuel Distribution, Lubricants, Quarrying, Waste and Contracting sectors.
We are seeking an Accountant for a role which primarily focuses on our Property and Corporate Service entities. This position plays a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records, data analysis and provides strategic insights.
As our Accountant, your key responsibilities will include: Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly management accounts and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with management to create budgets, track performance, and provide recommendations. Tax Compliance: Preparation of FBT & GST returns and stay up-to-date with regulatory changes. Auditing: Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring accuracy and transparency. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and enhance efficiency. Client Interaction: Build strong relationships with respective Managers and Administrators. This position is central to our business and we need a motivated self-starter who has: High level of accuracy and efficiency. Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting or related roles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Previous experience with Greentree ERP would be an advantage, but not a requirement as full training will be provided. Advanced Excel skills.
