A great opportunity is available to join our passionate team of Finance professionals as a permanent, fulltime Accountant.
About the Role: In this role you will be working in the finance team helping to deliver financial information. Reporting to the Finance Manager your key responsibilities will include:
Assisting with general accounting functions including journals and reconciliations for Council and its subsidiaries.Maintaining Internal Controls.Assisting with Council's external audit process.Maintaining Council's fixed asset register.Liaising with Council staff on sundry finance matters as required.About you: To be successful in this role you will have:
