Accountant

Jones Financial is seeking an energetic and resourceful individual to join our team as an Entry Level Accountant in Tauranga, Bay Of Plenty, NZ. This part-time position is perfect for someone who is looking to kickstart their career in the accounting field.

Responsibilities:- Prepare financial statements and reports- Assist with budget preparation and analysis- Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data- Process invoices and payments- Assist with tax preparation and compliance- Communicate financial information to management and other stakeholders- Assist with financial audits- Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are met

Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field- Strong communication skills- Persuasive and able to negotiate effectively- No prior experience required, entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
