They are a business that truly values their staff, the role offers great flexible working options and free lunch two days per week.About the RoleThis varied role involves providing crucial financial support across the organisation's operations in New Zealand, Australia, and Singapore. Working closely with the Finance Director, you'll handle key accounting processes, contribute to system improvements, and play a strategic role in the company's transition to a new accounting system. You will also get to work alongside a supportive and dynamic Finance Director who will be there to help you develop and grow. This role will be a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave.Key Responsibilities:Finalise monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including intercompany entries and reporting.Assist the Finance Director to provide accurate and timely reporting.Support year-end audits in collaboration with global teams.Oversee payroll processing and drive implementation of a new payroll system.Manage tax calculations and ensure compliance with GST, FBT, PAYE, and income tax regulations.Handle HR administration, including onboarding, leave tracking, and superannuation reviews.So Who Are You And What Is Your ProfileTo be successful you will need to have over three years of experience in financial accounting, any experience in inter-company processes and international reporting would be an added benefit. A CA/CPA qualification would be an advantage but it isn't essential. You will bring exceptional accounting and payroll expertise, strong HR administration skills, and proficiency in financial systems, with intermediate to advanced Excel capabilities.Your communication and interpersonal skills enable seamless collaboration across teams, and your innovative mindset ensures continuous improvement.
