Account Specialist, Inside Sales

Rain Bird Corporation is seeking a motivated and results-driven Account Specialist to join our Inside Sales team within our Landscape Irrigation Sales division. As an integral part of our Inside Sales team, you will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence, nurturing existing relationships, and driving sales growth & product education through virtual engagement with customers in key channels. No travel required.ResponsibilitiesAccount Planning: Conduct account research by leveraging internal tools to identify potential growth opportunities for target accounts. Develop strategies for targeted accounts to grow their sales.Customer Engagement: Achieve sales growth targets by proactively engaging with customers via marketing automation tool, phone, email, and virtual meetings.Virtual Product Training: Provide virtual product training sessions to key customer segments, ensuring that they are well-informed and equipped to make informed purchasing decisions.Cross Selling: Execute our inside sales program and close new business by cross selling underperforming product categories and newly introduced products.Lead Generation: Generate and qualify new leads for our field sales organization by effectively building relationships with multiple customer persona types.CRM Management: Contribute to maintaining our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system by updating customer records, tracking interactions, and ensuring the accuracy of data.Performance Tracking: Monitor and track the performance of your sales efforts, utilizing analytics and reporting tools to make data-driven decisions.Multi-tasking: Excel in a fast-paced environment by effectively juggling multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining a high level of productivity.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.3-4 years of experience as a sales Account Specialist, Account Manager, Account Executive or related roles with a track record of achieving sales quotas and incentive targets.Expertise in word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and data analytics (Power BI) applications.Strong interpersonal and communication skills via phone and email.Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and apply problem-solving techniques in virtual conversations.You have an entrepreneurial mindset and proven ability to navigate adversity.DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Master's degree in business or related field.Proven ability to deliver virtual presentations in small groups (1-3 people) and large groups (15-20 people).Proficient in using CRMs to manage activity, customer follow-up actions, etc.Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.Desire to grow your career and assume roles of greater responsibilities.Rain Bird is an equal opportunity employer
