We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as an Account Manager based at our Christchurch office.
This role involves nationwide sales responsibilities, including phone calls, emails, and in-person visits to our valued customers.
Viewtech distributes products to customers nationwide.Role and Responsibilities:Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and maximize revenue for Viewtech's product range, with a specific focus on vehicle safety cameras, and Viewtech Ai pedestrian detection systems, solar lighting and security CCTV and alarm products.Lead Generation: Identify potential customers and create a pipeline of qualified leads through proactive research, networking, and leveraging existing contacts.Sales Outreach: Conduct sales phone calls and engage in email correspondence to introduce our products, present compelling value propositions, and generate interest among prospective clients.In-Person Visits: Travel nationwide to meet customers in person, conduct product demonstrations, and build strong, lasting relationships that foster trust and confidence in our solutions.Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with the latest features and benefits of Viewtech's products to provide accurate information and address customer inquiries effectively.Market Research: Keep a pulse on industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition.Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team, product managers, and marketing department to align efforts and optimize cross-functional collaboration.Requirements:Proven Sales Experience: Demonstrated success in B2B sales, preferably in the security, surveillance, and heavy vehicle sales and supply industries.
Experience in selling CCTV and security products or vehicle safety equipment is a significant advantage.Customer-Centric Approach: A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and the ability to understand and address customers' unique needs.Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to articulate product features and benefits clearly and confidently.Results-Oriented: A track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, coupled with a drive to achieve and exceed performance expectations.Self-Motivated: A proactive and self-driven individual who can work independently and take initiative to pursue new opportunities.Willingness to Travel: The role requires nationwide travel for in-person customer visits, so flexibility and willingness to travel are essential.Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with technology and IT systems, ultimately this will be a technical sales role due to the nature of our products.Experience in presenting and demonstrating products to a board as well as running trade shows is also an advantage.Viewtech Ltd offers a competitive salary package, commission structure, and other benefits commensurate with experience and performance.
