Account Manager - Technical Sales

Join a well-established, privately owned importer and distributor of polymers and film for supply to the NZ Plastics manufacturing sector.
Seeking only candidates with prior experience in polymers, chemicals, or packaging film sales.
You will enjoy building new relationships to deliver ongoing growth whilst also managing a portfolio of existing accounts.
This role will suit a self-starter who likes working autonomously and achieving measurable results.

About the role:
We are seeking candidates only with prior experience in the plastics or aligned industries, preferably with sales experience, but consideration will also be given to individuals with plastics manufacturing or technical backgrounds. You will enjoy regular customer interactions and working closely in a dynamic work environment to meet their raw material needs and to solve ongoing supply requirements.
Some existing accounts will be provided to help you get up to speed, but a key focus and measure is the development of new customers and business.
The ideal candidate will have:
Extensive experience in the plastics industry or an aligned trading business
Impeccable numeracy skills
The willingness to maintain a customer-centric approach
