Location: Takanini, Auckland (covering the wider Auckland region)
Payrate: $28-35 depending on experience
Shift: Hours flexible between Monday to Friday - 30 hours per week initially
Main Responsibilities:
Manage a Diverse Customer Portfolio: Drive sales growth and maximize profitability by identifying and seizing opportunities.
Build Strong Relationships: Serve as the go-to contact for clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions with exceptional service.
Provide Market Insights: Deliver valuable insights on market trends, competitors, and customer needs to inform strategic decision-making within the team.
Client Visits: Regularly visit clients across the region—both new and existing—to maintain connections and ensure alignment with their requirements, while also supporting the sales office when needed.
Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with the Area Manager, Sales, and Supply Chain teams, and foster meaningful connections with external stakeholders, particularly your customers.
What We're Looking For:
Sales Experience: Proven track record in account management or business development, with a strong understanding of sales principles.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in traffic management or civil industries is advantageous, though a positive attitude and willingness to learn are paramount.
Business Acumen: Financially savvy with a focus on driving value and identifying opportunities.
Customer-Centric Approach: Exceptional people skills and problem-solving abilities that position you as a trusted partner for clients.
Technical Proficiency: Comfortable using tools such as Excel and Word, with a willingness to learn company-specific systems and product information.
Team Player: Thrives in a collaborative environment while also taking initiative to lead daily tasks. Willing to ask for help and contribute solutions for teammates.
Sales-Driven: Motivated by the challenges and rewards of sales, with a proactive approach to achieving results.
