Outbound sales, provided a ute, job is to keep tabs on customer accounts and call on them to identify growth opportunities, mix of managing existing accounts and generating new business.Easy Steel is a leading steel distribution company that has been serving customers throughout New Zealand for close to 100 years. Our success is built on the foundation of a skilled and dedicated workforce, and we are constantly seeking talented individuals who share our values to join our growing team.About the RoleOur Whangarei branch is small but agile, and we are looking for a dynamic Account Manager who can add to our culture built on trust, teamwork and a passion for what we do. In this role you will build and maintain strong customer relationships to understand customers' needs. Key responsibilities will include:Generate sales leads and build a robust pipeline in the Northland region.Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.Understand customer needs and offer solutions and support.Organize and coordinate sales presentations and product demonstrations.Negotiate contracts with potential clients.Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends in the region.About YouWe're looking for a proven track record in sales or account management type roles. Whilst experience in the construction or building products industry would be advantageous, it will be your proactive, solutions-focused approach that makes you stand out. Supporting our customers from Kaitaia to Wellsford, you must be willing to travel frequently and be able to work independently.
