No matter the location, we tailor our experience to ensure our employees are creative, productive, and happy.Check out our locations, benefits, and more at cash.app/careers.Job DescriptionThe purpose of the Account Manager, Merchant Partnerships ANZ is to enable sales teams and our merchants partners across NZ with content, tools and guides to support merchant acquisition, onboarding and growth initiatives across VM & Education, Partnerships, and Events.Delivering market present across our merchant base & ensuring best practice execution of Visual Merchandising across all Afterpay NZ shopfronts. Looking for continuous improvements to maximise engagement and results with Afterpay.Key SkillsVisual MerchandisingExecution: Proficiency in implementing and maintaining visual standards across different locations and shopfrontsMarket Trends Awareness: Understanding of current visual merchandising trends and the ability to apply them effectively in various settingAnalytical Skills: Ability to assess the effectiveness of visual merchandising efforts and identify areas for improvement based on sales and engagement dataInnovation mindset: A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement in visual merchandising and partnershipsAdaptability: Flexibility to adapt strategies based on market changes, partner needs, and emerging trendsProblem-Solving/ Troubleshooting: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to visual merchandising or partner relationships promptlyFeedback Management: Ability to gather, analyse, and act on feedback from partners and merchants to drive continuous improvementPartnership Management:Relationship Building: Strong skills in developing and maintaining positive relationships with merchant partners and other stakeholdersNegotiation: Ability to negotiate terms and agreements that benefit both the company and its partnersOrganisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and objectives are metCollaboration: Experience working closely with sales teams, merchants, and other partners to achieve common goalsPlanning and Execution: Experience in planning and executing events, promotions, or other initiativesTraining Abilities:Presentation Skills: Experience in developing and delivering training programs to educate merchants on Afterpay & best practicesResource Creation: Ability to create resources that help merchants effectively implement visual merchandising strategiesKey Responsibilities:Visual MerchandisingBuild and maintain relationships with internal/external stakeholders to successfully deliver APAC Visual Merchandising strategiesSupport Sales team by drawing from our VM toolkit to make autonomous decisions/recommendations on the right VM assets for our NZ merchantsDeliver faster to market VM assets and best practice installationManage the ANZ onboarding program, reporting & distributionImplement creative ways to improve our merchant relationships, tailor and share performance-enhancing suggestionsManage the relationship with our NZ printhouse, supervise and quality check the production of VM assetsPartnerships & EventsAssist in planning and coordinating logistics for NZ events, including venue selection, catering, entertainment, and decor under the guidance of the ANZ senior managerProvide on-site support during events, including setup, coordination of participants, and troubleshooting any issues that may ariseManage event timelines with vendors/partners and schedules to ensure deadlines are adhered toConduct post-event evaluations Support wider ANZ event calendar and operationsEducationDeliver Afterpay's merchant training offering; create content and resources for our frontline teams to build on their knowledge base. Develop resources to support omni merchants from the point of engagement, onboarding and growthPartner with Sale leads to ensure our EDU program to support strategic merchants to drive advocacy on the shop floorAct as an outward-facing ambassador of Afterpay facilitate virtual and in-person workshops and group sessions, as well astrain-the-trainer sessionsQualificationsExperience:Dedicated sales professional with 3+ years of experience utilising interpersonal skills in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment3+ year experience in developing creative and engaging visual merchandising & educational tools and guidesProven ability to build relationships and work cross-functionally to achieve outcomesSkilled in presenting and facilitating sessions both virtually and in-personDetail-oriented mindset with a proactive and problem-solving attitudeStrong business understanding and acumenEven Better:Proficient in Google Office suite & Adobe Creative CloudExperience developing and implementing learning programs through Rise 360Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbalExperience hosting events & attending merchant facing conferencesOutstanding organisational & time management skillsTravel Requirements:This role necessitates frequent travel, including international trips, to ensure effective coordination and management. Candidates should be ready and comfortable with a significant amount of travel, as it is a critical aspect of successfully fulfilling the responsibilities of this position.
