Account & Relationship Management (Sales) Full time Add expected salary to your profile for insights We are partnering with New Zealand's leading industrial supplier to support their sales growth with the best Account Managers in the market. Supplying construction materials, equipment and fasteners to some of New Zealand's most complex projects, there is breadth for a long and successful career path. Are you an experienced Account Manager, looking for that next long-term career opportunity? This is an excellent role covering the Wellington region, with a solid customer base, and potential for continued growth. You'll need to be a strong relationship builder, with sound business acumen and drive to succeed and deliver results. This position has excellent career prospects, incentive scheme and you'll be part of a small hardworking team where a work hard, play hard culture is strong. You'll certainly be rewarded for your hard work and team collaboration. Some of your key responsibilities  Deliver superior face-to-face interactions with our customers to understand their needs, barriers and challenges their business faces Grow opportunities to promote a broad product range  Develop a sales cycle to get the best results from existing and new relationships Be a subject matter expert, that all stakeholders can rely on Experience and skillset requirements: Proven successful sales experience in the construction industry including ancillary industries such as fasteners and speciality products would be an advantage Demonstrated skill in achieving sales targets, customer retention and growth Sales and profitable growth budgeting, planning and forecasting experience Sound skills in influencing and building long-lasting relationships Exceptional communicator Commercially oriented – able to demonstrate good financial and commercial awareness including industry and market trends Self-awareness and a high level of integrity and standards With an exemplary culture and a genuine commitment to their people, a focus on collaboration and development is at the heart of this position.
