This role is a full-time and permanent position based in central Wellington. You will ultimately represent clients to position Thundergrid at the forefront of the EV industry. The role will be responsible for managing both customer's and electrical contractor partner's needs for technical solutions that elevate the Thundergrid brand in the industry. Work with a wide mixture of stakeholders such as government departments, fleet managers, and property managers to plan EV charging infrastructure. Review electrical drawings and site plans to create lists of required EV charging equipment and desired settings. Review energy use and site data to determine electrical capacity. Create EV charging infrastructure reports to walk customers through the design and installation process. Collaborate with Thundergrid Project Managers to conduct site reviews. Follow up with customers on quotes and leads, make recommendations on whether consulting services are required or if customers only require simple quotes. Update and maintain CRM including job notes for each account. Work with key clients to provide insight and support. Develop subscription agreements to ensure the client has ongoing support. What we are looking for: You will have a minimum of 3 years' account management experience, ideally within the energy, electrical, environmental or technology sectors. You will have beginners' knowledge with CRM systems (we use Hubspot) and be familiar with report writing and using your analytical skills. In addition, you will have extensive customer service experience and have strong organizational and communication skills. A few cool things that we're proud of: Although we need you to work for us, it is just as important that we work for you too. In addition to a competitive salary plus bonus, this is what sets us apart from the rest: Fully supported onboarding and training in the emerging field of clean tech. Flexible working arrangements – you're in charge of your daily schedule. We work smarter, not harder, and we appreciate that humans have families, lives and wellbeing to tend to. Five weeks annual leave – trust us, the extra week really does make a difference! Career progression both with Thundergrid and Landis+Gyr. A truly supportive team where sharing and learning comes first. Apply now by following the link below and attaching your CV and a cover letter outlining why you believe you are our next Account Manager. Role closes at midnight on Wednesday 21st August 2024.
