We are looking for a talented and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our Taranaki team. You will have a strong understanding of the food service market and a passion for sales.You will be responsible for managing sales growth in a geographical territory. You will develop and maintain relationships with our key customers and increase sales within your assigned territory (the Taranaki region).The role:Being an Account Manager with us offers a great blend of business development and account management. Most of your time will be spent prospecting your network to target a wide variety of different-sized clients. You will be supported by the Site Manager to succeed and be given autonomy to use your initiative to develop your own pipeline and build ongoing customer relations. The Account Manager will also:Create a feasible business plan for your territory.Launch new products to customers in conjunction with supplier representatives.Spend time with their inherited portfolio of warm accounts to manage and grow.Ensure to keep an active call cycle to support high levels of customer satisfaction.Communicate with internal departments to create the best outcomes for our customers.Ensure effective budgetary control over sales expenses, returns and promotional expenses against sales targets.Work closely with the team to ensure accurate product forecasting to meet sales trends, customer and supplier needs.What's in it for you?
