You'll be heavily involved with regular touch points and result-driven engagements.This role offers a great blend of sales and account management. Your time will be spent out on the road managing and growing business within a well-established customer portfolio, but more importantly, building relationships with new customers in the region – where there is great opportunity to increase market share!Daily you will be responsible for:Identifying sales opportunities both in existing and new customersEnsuring regularity of contact so you can be ahead of the gameCollaborating with your colleagues and communicating with customers about stock availability, delivery times, and pricingAttending building industry and trade events to keep up to date with market trendsDeveloping relationships within the community and promoting brand awarenessThis is a permanent full-time role, offering 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday, based in Kerikeri.About you:You will play a lead role in capturing sales opportunities across your portfolio; therefore, your passion for building rapport and long-lasting customer relationships is an absolute must!Proven experience in Sales/Account Management and/or Business DevelopmentKnowledge of the building industry is preferred but not essentialA self-starter with strong organisational skillsStrong sales drive and resilience with a solutions-focused approachDisciplined salesperson who thrives on development and expanding their client baseExcellent communication skills and highly motivated with an exceptional work ethicA down-to-earth and community-minded person with a focus on long-term, credible relationshipsClean, full NZ Driver's LicencePre-employment checks including references, medical, drug test, and a criminal background check are required, as well as the legal right to work in NZ indefinitely.Join Us:We value diversity and encourage applications from all backgrounds.
