About the role Integral to our success is re-imagining and elevating the craft of media planning, acknowledging its crucial role to connect with and influence people in more meaningful, creative and powerful ways. Therefore, we need people who can design superior customer experiences based on a deeper understanding of people and the role that media plays in their lives. Our Account Managers will think holistically across all paid, owned and earned channels. They will draw on expertise within the specialist business units to bring the media plan to life and quantify its relevance. Reporting directly to an Associate Business Director, OMD's Account Managers will take sole or joint responsibility for media planning across a portfolio of clients and help to lead campaign delivery with Account Executives and Media Assistants. The Account Manager is responsible for ensuring that our media plans are aligned to the philosophy of OMD's global planning process, OMD Design. This means taking a more empathetic approach to planning, that truly has the consumer at the heart. The Account Manager will need to work closely and collaboratively with all areas of OMD including, Digital specialists, Investment, Strategy and all the specialist business units (Activations, Annalect, FUSE, Transact, TRKKN). Skills & Experience Demonstrate a passion for doing great, innovative work Excellent presentation skills – ability to present to large groups and can make the complicated seem simple, has the ability to influence (both written and verbal) Strong implementation planning knowledge across both digital and non-digital channels Ability to translate data into actionable experience Ability to deliver innovative work that delivers to clients' business success Ability to work autonomously when required Knowledge of OMD Design and the role that planning plays within the process An understanding of all OMD products & services and how they can help clients to be more successful Omni-channel planning and implementation experience – including but not limited to digital media landscape (publishers, tech providers), standard and rich formats and associated metrics, buying, campaign setup, tracking capabilities, reporting and evaluation, attribution. Understanding of all digital disciplines (SEM, SEO, programmatic buying, social and influencer marketing, mobile, content including video, bespoke / publisher / tech-specific opportunities, CRM, and email marketing). High-level understanding of digital media systems including, Facebook Business Manager, DV360, Google Analytics, Global Web Index, Pathmatics, Google Trends etc. High-level understanding of the technical media landscape in order to apply this knowledge to briefs and help educate others – ad networks, ad exchanges, ad servers, DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, CDP's, CRM, device ID, IP, cookies, Ads Data Hub, cookie deprecation, contextual targeting, behavioural, optimisation and measurement, dynamic delivery, retargeting, etc. Ability to manage, help develop and motivate junior members of the team Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills Excellent attention to detail If this sounds like you, please apply directly via the job ad ASAP.
