Account & Relationship Management (Sales)ITI NZ is a leading distributor of innovative and sustainable building products throughout the wholesale, joinery and manufacturing channels in New Zealand.We are currently looking for an Account Manager located at our Christchurch site. The Account Manager position offers an outstanding opportunity for a sales professional to drive exceptional results for our business. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will utilise your Sales and Account Management experience gained from a timber, building or construction environment to manage and foster collaborative working relationships whilst servicing our reseller customer base.Your responsibilities will include:Maximise sales opportunities by liaising with all customers in various segments across the reseller market.Creating and managing strong internal and external relationships with various clients.Prepare pricing strategies and quotations.Liaise with Sales team members to collate advice on potential customers and negotiations on supply agreements in line with pricing strategies.Establish and maintain a high degree of quality awareness, resulting in delivery of products and services of high quality.Liaise with the Yard, Despatch and all relevant stakeholders in the co-ordination of customer orders and deliveries.Depending on location, regular travel to regional areas will be required.You will bring:Minimum 3+ years' sales experience in the building and construction industry, particularly with timber will be highly regarded.Sound knowledge of timber products (ideally).The ability to develop long term business relationships.Exceptional negotiation and presentation skills.Strong ability to research and target the appropriate segments.We will offer you:An attractive and competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience.A supportive and collaborative management team.A fully maintained company vehicle.An opportunity to be part of a great company culture that promotes career progression.An opportunity to earn a monthly commission.Free access to EAP services.If you are ready for a challenge and think you have what it takes, we want to hear from you!
