The Role:
As an extension of their customers engineering/manufacturing facility, this role will utilise a broad range of skills from sales to key account & inventory management, training, and reporting on productivity improvements.
Maintain service levels for key accounts based in the Christchurch area
Participate in monthly client meetings, providing advice to improve efficiencies
Manage inventory and complete bi-annual stock takes
Communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders ensuring service excellence is always achieved
Keep up to date with product knowledge and new technology
Skills and experience:
Proven knowledge of machine technology, metal cutting tools or engineering workshop experience with brands such as Sandvik Coromant, Dormer Pramet, M. A. Ford, Schunk, Tesa Measuring equipment and Allied Machine & Engineering
Ability to work independently, motivated by partnering with clients to provide solutions
Strong verbal and written communication skills essential
Competent user of Microsoft Office and inventory management systems
