For 14 years, they've been the distributor for premium fire safety products CAVIUS across NZ and Australia. Partnering with their Danish colleagues, they've launched some of the most innovative fire safety solutions worldwide. With new NZ Building Code changes on the horizon, their products continue to be the top choice for Kiwis who demand safety, style, and smarts in their fire protection. About the role: Our client is on the hunt for a relationship-driven salesperson to join their team and fuel their growth! Your top priority? Building and nurturing strong, lasting relationships with their 277 retailers in the North Island. You'll be the face of the brand, ensuring their customers not only stick with them, but also grow with them. While experience in the building industry or DIY channel is a plus, it's not a must; all the training you need to excel will be provided. Your focus will be on deepening connections, understanding customer needs, and helping them succeed with their products. You'll be on the road visiting key customers across the North Island from KeriKeri to Wellington. Expect up to 8 nights away from home per month, but don't worry— you'll always be back by the weekend! Key Responsibilities: Strengthen relationships with existing customers and find new growth opportunities. Educate and train customers on products and support them with presentations and solutions. Introduce new products as they launch. Attend trade shows and network like a pro. Hunt down new market and channel opportunities. About You: You've got 5+ years of sales experience under your belt, and you're ready to make some serious waves. You will be someone who is confident, motivated, and loves the thrill of opening new doors and impressing key stakeholders. With a passion for building strong relationships, you will be able to effectively communicate, influence, and negotiate with clients, gaining satisfaction from growing mutually beneficial commercial relationships.
