We are looking for a talented and experienced Sales Account Manager to join our Auckland Sales team. You will have a strong understanding of the food service market and a passion for sales. You will be responsible for managing sales growth in a geographical territory. You will be developing and maintaining relationships with our key customers, and growing sales within your assigned territory.
The role: Being an Account Manager with us offers a great blend of business development and account management. Most of your time will be spent prospecting your network to target a wide variety of different-sized clients. You will be supported by the wider team to succeed and be given autonomy to use your initiative to develop your own pipeline and build ongoing customer relations. The Account Manager will also:
Create a feasible business plan for your territoryLaunch new products to customers in conjunction with supplier representativesSpend time with their inherited portfolio of warm accounts to manage and growEnsure to keep an active call cycle to support high levels of customer satisfactionCommunicate with internal departments to create best outcomes for our customersEnsure effective budgetary control over sales expenses, returns and promotional expenses against sales targetWork closely with our Procurement and Warehouse Operations to ensure accurate product forecasting to meet sales trends, customer and supplier needsWhat's in it for you?
