Job Description About this opportunity The role of Account Manager is a senior role within the sales team and is responsible for both directly and indirectly managing a specified customer base and has accountability for delivering new volume, new concepts and new markets to the business. The customer base in question crosses all markets segments, from Industrial to FMCG and includes customers with a Gross to ranging in size from $60K to more than $4Million annually. Some travel will be required. Your key responsibilities will be to: Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. Deliver new volume, new concepts, and new markets to the business. Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews. Negotiate contracts and report revenue. Maximize volume opportunities from existing customers. Manage product development opportunities within the existing base and through new markets and customers. Develop innovative packaging solutions, taking ownership to project manage ideas from concept to sale, and maintain an excellent standard of service. Build profitable recycling offerings and subsequent markets. Contribute to the generation of the annual strategic plan. Your skills and experience To be successful in this role, you'll have: 5 years account management experience minimum. Ability to work autonomously. Business to business sales experience gained within the manufacturing sector, with ideally some experience in a technical background, or experience in industrial market. Strong lateral thinking, excellent negotiation, analytical & numerical skills. Exceptional communication skills. Tertiary qualifications would be preferred as there are a number of opportunities within the wider group for talented, professional individuals who have the ability and desire to move up.
