About the Role:
Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Account Manager will be responsible for building and fostering relationships with a portfolio of customers, including identifying new opportunities. You will enable a long-term trusting partnership that creates the best results for customers and the business.
This is not a 'on the road' Account Manager position; most meetings will be done online due to the location of some customers. Depending on your market, you may also be required to attend international trade shows or scheduled annual visits.
You will conduct regular competitor and market analysis and constantly strive to be the best in the industry. You will be responsible for building and maintaining positive relationships internally and will play a vital role in helping the Operations Team resolve customer escalations.
You will work alongside internal teams to develop strategies to achieve goals and continue to enhance the organisation's customer-inspired experiences.
About You:
You will have proven sales/relationship management experience, ideally within the travel or e-commerce industry.
You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
You will be an exceptional relationship builder with a customer-centric mindset.
You will have strong analytics skills with the ability to read and interpret data and identify areas of opportunity and concern.
You will have strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
You won't be afraid to ask "the hard" questions and can easily identify opportunities for growth.
