We are on the search for a focused, driven Account Manager for our Auckland branch.
This role is to assist us with the growth and development of our customer base in the Foodservices category.
This will ideally suit someone who has some sales experience, especially in the foodservice industry.
The role: Being an Account Manager with us offers a great blend of business development and account management.
Most of your time will be spent prospecting your network to target a wide variety of different-sized clients across the Wellington region.
You will be supported by the wider team to succeed and be given the autonomy to use your initiative to develop your own pipeline and build ongoing customer relations.
The Account Manager will also: Spend time with their inherited portfolio of warm accounts to manage and grow, ensuring to keep an active call cycle to support high levels of customer satisfaction.
Ensure effective budgetary control over sales expenses, returns, and promotional expenses against sales targets.
Work closely with our Procurement and Warehouse Operations to ensure accurate product forecasting to meet sales trends, customer, and supplier needs.
The person: As you will be playing a lead role in capturing sales opportunities, your passion for building rapport and long-lasting customer relationships is crucial.
You will: Be a confident and effective communicator.
Have relevant trade/hospitality experience.
Have problem-solving skills employing a solutions-focused approach to partner with our clients and grow with them.
Previous Salesforce experience is a bonus, not mandatory.
A tertiary qualification is desirable.
Have a good grasp of analytical and product knowledge essential to deliver exceptional results.
Lead generation and business development are key elements of the role, so your strong network of contacts will be advantageous.
