This is a hybrid opportunity where you'll work a few days in the office and a few days from home or as agreed with your manager. As an Account Manager with Insight, you will manage the development and growth of a customer portfolio (existing and new) to drive sales and delivery of Insight's Technology business . You will collaborate with other organizational units and the vendor channel to identify specific client opportunities where Insight can deliver value to the customers' business. As an Account Manager – Technology, you'll get to: Generate new business with companies through various means of prospecting Achieve and exceed quarterly GP targets Retain and grow existing business – look for whitespace and new opportunity Provide effective solutions to customers' business needs via consultative selling Co-ordination and communication of Software License Agreements, Hardware Procurement, and attached Services (Professional Services and Managed Services) Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing clients at a senior level Develop relationships with key publisher representatives Provide regular account reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews in presentation format to key contacts Deliver the appropriate resources from Insight to meet or exceed customer requirements Forecast pipeline opportunities on a month-by-month basis Maintain client information in Insight's Salesforce CRM Develop strategic account plans for top 10 target accounts Document plans for over-achievement of budgets, including providing information on target accounts, existing accounts, revenue expectations, close dates, and critical success factors Other tasks as assigned by the Country Manager, NZ or ANZ Sales Director Ensure that all tasks performed comply with Insight's Policies and Procedures. We're looking for an Account Manager with: Previous sales experience in Technology Products (software, hardware procurement) and Services (Asset Management, IT Solutions) Proven record of account development, in particular with a complex portfolio of products and services Clear evidence of consistent target over achievement in a profit and margin driven sales environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Good business acumen, showing evidence of ability to make sound business decisions An ongoing interest and passion to learn about and understand IT products and services Outstanding negotiation and relationship building skills Insight at a Glance Received 35+ industry and partner awards in the past year $9.2 billion in revenue 14,000+ engaged teammates Best Workplaces in Technology - 2024 $1.4M+ total charitable contributions in 2023 by Insight globally We're not just a tech company; we're a people-first company.
