The role - Education Account ManagerIn this diverse role, you will be working closely with some of our larger Education customers including Primary, Intermediate, and Secondary Schools across West and South Auckland.
Build strong partnerships and identify new opportunities, creating customised solutions for their requirements.
In this role, you will be responsible for sales and gross profit targets, ensuring plans are in place to deliver on these.
If you have a successful background in account management with experience and/or a genuine interest in Aotearoa's education sector - this could be your role to start 2025 on a fresh page!
Key responsibilities include:Retain and grow customers within a portfolio.Build external relationships through multi-tiered engagement with customers.Identify and convert new opportunities within existing customer base.Develop and execute sales plans in alignment with OfficeMax's sales strategy.Proactively manage and grow sales pipeline.Collaborate with internal stakeholders and knowledge experts to optimize portfolio performance and new business conversions.What you will bring:3-5 years experience working in a Business to Business environment.Knowledge and experience gained within the Education sector.Successful record of gaining new business and customers.Demonstrated experience in supplier and customer negotiations.Track record of working in matrix team structures.Commercial, logistics, and problem-solving skills.Sustainability and HS&W champion.People and CultureA business that cares, take your birthday and a wellbeing day off on us!Staff buying rates.Hybrid working arrangements with at least three days based in the office.Free parking onsite with a discounted café.Great people!
