Growing share of wallet by identifying new opportunities within our solutions range to benefit your customer's needs; partner with your customers to understand their pain points and then provide advice to influence their decision making processes and ultimately winning the sale!

Covering a customer base across the South Island (Te Waipounamu), you can expect to be on the road approximately 2-3 nights per month.
Your key responsibilities are: Account Management and Customer Retention Achieve Customer retention through account planning, prompt and professional resolution of issues and deepening of long-term relationships and loyaltyDevelop leads and capture new account opportunities through upselling, cross-selling and prospecting via relationship networks, market intelligence and key customer contacts or staff changesShape Bid, RFP, Presentation and Contract Renewal processes for customers in conjunction with Sales Operations and the Sales Manager to achieve win-win outcomesNegotiate Terms of Trade and SLA negotiations with customers based on financial analysis, commercial insight, and OfficeMax's Sector Sales strategyWork with the Sales Manager and other parts of OfficeMax to assess ROI and contribute insights to new product development for customersManage allocated categories to optimise sales, provide solutions for customer needs e.g.
new, compliant or specialist products, and share category knowledge with wider sales teamEnsure all pipeline and customer information and activity is up to date in Salesforce CRMExcellence in Sales execution Work closely with Sales Operations teams to develop a collaborative, cohesive and strong OfficeMax service-delivery culture, support forecasting and planning and enable sales excellence in sales executionDeliver key Project requirements e.g.
Back to School, to customersEnsure customers can access, or be provided with accurate information and advice on relevant categories & products - including their use in the customer workplace, and how these meet the customer needs and requirements.
