DescriptionWorking in the Financial, Professional and Executive Risks (FINEX) team in our Christchurch or Wellington offices, the successful candidates will be responsible for all aspects of servicing and growing an existing book of clients based predominantly in the North Island region, with a focus across all classes of liability insurance. Key areas of accountability will include all aspects of client servicing, such as the preparation of client documentation, assistance with claims management, client database management, and liaison with underwriters.
The Role
Ensuring that the client's risk management and insurance broking programmes are administered to deliver high-quality services, including:
Reviewing each client's risk management and insurance objectives to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.Preparing client documentation and ensuring 100% accuracy prior to distribution to clients and insurers.Ensuring the timely and accurate production/processing of quotes, reports, invoices, premium, and adjustment calculations.Managing client claims to ensure agreed claims standards are achieved and timely settlements are made.Providing support to the Corporate Risks team in managing the liability insurance programme of larger clients.Maximising the revenue generated from the existing client base through continual analysis of client profitability and the use of group facilities.Ensuring premium funding is offered to all clients, debtor collections are made in accordance with terms of trade, and no client placements occur outside of approved insurers.Developing and maintaining effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurers.Understanding the various business units and capabilities within WTW and bringing this collective experience and expertise to clients as opportunities or needs arise.Maintaining comprehensive client data on WTW systems, facilities, and databases.Ensuring all documentation is prepared in accordance with company service and compliance procedures and tools.Promoting the WTW brand within the insurance industry and amongst clients, prospects, and other professional networks.Supporting the team to ensure compliance with all specified business management processes.Providing assistance to other brokers in the team when required. QualificationsThe Requirements A minimum of 2 years insurance broking and/or legal experience with specialist knowledge in the liability practice areaA Level 5 insurance qualification, or a willingness to complete it, along with significant business experienceExcellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, applicable to both individual and group interactionsA reasonable level of competency in Word and Excel, with knowledge of PowerPointAn understanding of claims management processesBroad business and economic understandingA customer-centric approach and a strong desire to understand and meet clients' needsGood time management skills and a proactive approach to workProfessionalism, reliability, and the ability to work effectively in a team or independently when requiredNote: Employment-based visa sponsorship and/or assistance is not offered for this specific job opportunity.
