VR Group Hotels and Apartments – Rotorua, North Island Location/ Place of work – VR Rotorua Lake ResortWage/Salary- $ 29.66 per hourJob Type – Permanent Full TimeHourly of work - Minimum 30 hours per weekREQUIREMENT:At least three years of relevant experience in hospitality industry.Candidates must show their eligibility to work in New Zealand.TASKS include:Must have experience as a receptionist and Duty Manager.Must be familiar with OTAs and their Extranets and monitor the same.Must have experience in most software (PMS) and utilise the same.Familiar with GDs, Consortia and Wholesalers.Knowledge of Channel Managers.Manage rosters and productivity of front desk team of receptionists, trainees, porters, valets, and night auditors.Good knowledge of Banking & EDC/rollover processes.Banking of daily cash receipts after appropriate recording and matching accounts.Prepare rosters, staffing as per the forecast and budgets.Aware of HR formats and time & wage records.Conduct training of staff and organise refresher cadres for teams.Responsible for H&S, OSH policies and procedures and to implement and monitor them regularly.Fill in for staff on leave.Accurately and timely submit management reports.PERSONAL REQUIREMENTS:Friendly and helpful.Polite and tactful.Resourceful and reliable.Organised, well-groomed and presentable.Good at listening and communicating.Able to work well as part of a team.As the job requires dealing with a wide range of people, they should also have an understanding and awareness of other cultures.Apply within if this position is for you and send your CV with cover letter.We thank you in advance for your interest.
