The Cancer Society's Lions Lodge provides a relaxing and friendly environment for people to enjoy while undergoing cancer treatment. The Lodge lies in the heart of Hamilton and is close to the Waikato Regional Cancer Centre.
This role will assist, engage with, and help guests as required, in support of current Lodge staff.
Meal preparation or dinner service for guests may also be required.
Requirements: A can do attitude with a friendly and caring manner.
Ability to interact with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and excellent communication skills.
It is essential that the right person for this role has the ability to respect the privacy of guests and maintain confidentiality.
Must be fully vaccinated and able to work under Alert Level 3 guidelines.
A Police background check is required for this role.
Time commitment: Four hour shifts: 9am-1pm Monday to Thursday (inclusive)
