3 Kings cherries is a modern packhouse and orchard located in sunny Central Otago.
We have a dedicated team of passionate people working to ensure that 3 Kings cherries provide the best cherries available on the market.We are looking for a Cleaner to take care of our facilities and carry out cleaning and maintenance duties.Daily tasks include cleaning and maintaining of:Staff KitchenStaff Toilets and ShowersStaff LaundryOfficeThe goal is to keep our buildings in a clean and orderly condition.ResponsibilitiesClean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, Kitchen cleaning, restroom cleaning etc)Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activitiesCarry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projectsNotify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairsMake adjustments and minor repairsStock and maintain supply roomsCooperate with the rest of the staffFollow all health and safety regulationsIf you are looking for an opportunity to work and live in Central Otago this summer, this could be the perfect role for you.Key skills and attributes required for this roleAttention to detailAbility to work well in a team environmentReliabilityAbility to achieve tasks within a timely manner and be capable of working under pressureExcellent time management skillsHealth and safety awarenessAbility to learn on the jobGood communication skillsPhysically fitSelf-motivated with strong drive to achieve resultsPacking work starts around mid-December through to late January/early February.This position will be full time, fixed term from December 2024 until February 2025, and requires a commitment for the entire season with accommodation available if required.Knowledge of operating systems will be helpful, but full training will be provided.
