Accommodation Assistant

We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Accommodation Assistant to join our team in Christchurch, New Zealand.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable.ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist guests with check-in and check-out processesAnswer inquiries and provide information about the property, local attractions, and amenitiesHandle reservations, cancellations, and room assignments efficientlyMaintain accurate records and update guest information in the reservation systemRespond promptly to guest requests and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional mannerCoordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are clean and well-maintainedPerform administrative tasks, such as data entry, filing, and answering phone callsAssist with other duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the accommodation facilityQualificationsExcellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanorStrong communication abilities, both verbal and writtenProficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office SuiteAttention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneouslyProblem-solving abilities to address guest concerns and find practical solutionsPrevious experience in the hospitality or accommodation industry is preferredKnowledge of reservation systems and property management software is an advantageFamiliarity with local attractions and amenities in Christchurch is desirableFluency in additional languages is a plus, depending on the guest demographics
