Academic Success Team Leader

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Academic Success Team Leader to re-envision our academic support programmes and provide operational management and leadership to the Academic Success team.
The Academic Success team works with students and academic staff to provide the academic support resources, advising and materials needed for students to succeed.
This role is pivotal in enhancing learner success through collaboration with internal and external stakeholders in alignment with both Manaaki Tauira Learner Success and Disability Action Plans.
Key responsibilities include: Managing the daily operations of the Academic Success team Developing and delivering high quality academic support services and resources Leading strategic initiatives related to student success Minimum Requirements: A relevant tertiary qualification in education, educational psychology or related field OR an equivalent combination of experience and qualifications.
Three to five years of progressively responsible experience related to supporting tauira in an education environment, with emphasis on academic success.
Experience leading a team, project or coordinated activities.
Demonstrated ability to design and implement skill development programs, implement academic success services, and manage workflow processes.
Knowledge of The Education (Pastoral Care of Tertiary and International Learners) Code of Practice 2021.
An understanding of Te Reo me ona tikanga and a commitment to Manaakitaka and Lincoln University values.
This is a permanent role working 37.5 hours per week based on our beautiful Lincoln Campus.
The salary range is set at circa $90,000 - $100,000, commensurate with experience.
