Wintec | Te Pukenga invites dynamic and experienced registered nurses (RN) to join our Te Kura o te Oranga (Centre for Health & Social Practice) team in the heart of Waikato. As a leading institution committed to delivering quality education and training, we are excited to be able to offer four full-time permanent positions within our nursing education team. Two positions are suitable for RNs that are looking to enter the education sector. Two positions are suitable for RNs with education experience. In your role you will:
Facilitate engaging and interactive learning experiences for nursing students.
Instruct and mentor students in both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
Contribute to curriculum development and enhancement.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices.
The appointing salary for this role will be between $70,400 and $90,000, dependent on skills and experience.

We are looking for people that:
have a current annual practising certificate.
belong to a relevant professional body.
have five or more years of experience in the nursing profession.
possess a valid permit to live and work in New Zealand.
have an understanding of Te Ao Maori.
have experience in mental health nursing.
Familiarity with innovative teaching methods and technologies is a plus.
