We have an Academic Staff Member vacancy within the Immigration team. The position is permanent full time. However, we will consider applicants seeking part time work. The appointing salary will be dependent on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.The Academic Staff Member role reports to the Academic Leader. The role involves teaching on our Immigration programmes: the Graduate Diploma in New Zealand Immigration Advice and the New Zealand Immigration Adviser Refresher course. As the programmes are delivered online, the role is not required to be based at our Tauranga or Rotorua Campus. The Academic Staff Member will be responsible for:Delivering tutorialsCreating and updating coursework and learning materialsProviding leadership in student managementDeveloping, implementing and marking student assessmentsMonitoring student progress and results and providing timely and accurate advice and support as requiredActively engaging in researchTo be successful in this role you will have:A recognised relevant bachelor's degreeA minimum of four years' experience in the immigration industryTeaching experience preferredExperience in the development of student learning material preferredIf this rewarding role is what you are looking for then we encourage you to apply prior to 8 November 2024.
