By implementing thorough quality assurance processes, managing compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing administrative support, the Academic Quality team ensures the integrity and effectiveness of our educational offerings.
About the opportunity Based in Wellington or Palmerston North, you'll enjoy varied work as you support the quality assurance and administration functions by: Working closely with the Evaluation & Quality Specialist and Head of Sector Workforce to provide key support activities related to the delivery of Grid Skills & Operational Training programmes.
Assisting with a wide range of tasks and activities that support the delivery of training at Transpower in conjunction with the Senior Administrator and Team Administrator.
Providing business support to the Evaluation & Quality Specialist in quality of assessment through an annual moderation programme, providing insights on potential improvements.
Working with both internal and external stakeholders, ultimately, you'll contribute to the continual improvement of the evaluation framework and collection of meaningful evidence to support design evidence-based and data-driven programmes.

Your CV and Cover letter will demonstrate Previous experience delivering in a project or programme coordination role or an extensive administration background.
Experience of working in academic/training teams where there are customer-focused delivery outcomes.
Proven experience and demonstrated skills in the use of the Microsoft Office suite including strong Excel skills (e.g.
pivot tables etc).
A sound understanding of national qualifications via standard setting bodies and NZQA processes.
Strong planning, prioritisation, and execution skills as well as proven ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Experience and an understanding of te ao Maori principles and their application in the workplace and/or education environment are highly desirable.
