Your key responsibilities include:Programme Development: Enhance and develop educational programs tailored to meet the needs of our diverse student body and key stakeholders.Professional Development: Collaborate with teaching staff to refine teaching practices and drive continuous quality improvement.Academic Quality Assurance: Implement robust quality assurance systems, processes, and policies to uphold rigorous academic standards and ensure compliance with OCA's contractual obligations.Innovation in Teaching: Champion innovative teaching methodologies and learning strategies that promote academic excellence.Student Support: Provide comprehensive academic and pastoral support, ensuring students have the necessary resources and guidance to thrive.About You:As Academic Lead/ Partner, you are dedicated to designing and developing a curriculum that equips students for success in their future careers.Strong knowledge of the New Zealand Qualifications Framework.A minimum of two years' experience in the New Zealand tertiary and/or education sector.Advanced qualifications in teacher education, preferably at the tertiary level.Exceptional written and verbal English skills (native or near-native proficiency) are essential, as you will be responsible for writing program applications, updating and revising curricula, and communicating with key internal and external stakeholders.Proven experience in curriculum design and development, particularly in a blended or e-learning environment, with expertise in instructional design principles, assessment design, and strategies to support Maori, Pasifika, and under 25 students.Experience in managing and maintaining a curriculum or program portfolio.Familiarity with e-learning environments and supporting students in their use.Prior experience in a Maori or Pasifika educational setting.This full-time position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to make a significant impact in the education sector, contributing to the pursuit of educational excellence.Find Out More / ApplyIf you are eager to support the academic success and cultural growth of our students at Oceania Career Academy, we invite you to apply.
