Founded in 1983 by Tama Huata with the support of a dynamic team, Takitimu has been a pioneer in this emerging field.About the roleThe function of the Academic Director is to ensure that all of the Wananga recognized courses are delivered to the highest standards of excellence and meet the requirements of all appropriate stakeholders, especially, but not limited to, the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC), Ministry of Education (MOE), and the New Zealand Qualification Authority (NZQA).
