AA Battery - Senior Warehouse Storeperson ChristchurchBased in our AA Battery Service Christchurch DC warehouse facility, you will play a key role in managing and overseeing our inventory operations, including our LMS Microsoft Dynamics365, quality control, and logistics support to key customers and stakeholders in the South Island region.This is a key role for a detail-oriented individual with strong multi-tasking skills.
You will provide backup support for operations with scheduled or random audits of stock holdings.
There is also travel involved to our Dunedin warehouse at least once per month.Pick, pack, replenish, scrap, palletise, stack, store, recharge, test, reconcile, investigate, report, deliver, and receive AA battery stock inventory orders, returns, and transfers daily.Communicate, collaborate, supply, and support our frontline contractor teams to ensure that they can service our key customers with quality AA battery stock inventory.Conduct scheduled warehouse and operational audits, reports, reconciliations, investigations, escalations, and recommendations to the DC Manager in Auckland.Deliver exceptional customer service to all key customers and stakeholders across the supply chain network.Champion health and safety compliance and best practice in all areas of the supply chain operations in the Christchurch and Dunedin warehouse facilities.Minimum Requirements:Proven experience in warehousing, logistics, and inventory control or a similar role, with a focus on quality management.Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with varied stakeholders.Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail.Proficiency in relevant software applications and systems.Physically fit and capable of lifting or moving heavy objects on a daily basis (e.g., automotive batteries).Full clean driver's license with F and D endorsements preferably but not essential depending on the applicant.Benefits:Free AA Membership for you and your whanau.NZAA Super Scheme with 2% employer contributions on top of 3% Kiwisaver.A day off for your birthday.Full training provided.Discounted insurance.Working with the AA | Me mahi tahi tatou ki AAFor over 120 years we've been helping Kiwis on their adventures!
