About the Role: Are you ready to take the next step in your nursing career in a vibrant and supportive healthcare environment? We are searching for a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dedicated A2 General Medical & Renal Ward team at Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand, Te Matau a Maui, Hawke's Bay.
As a Registered Nurse in this ward, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with a range of medical and renal conditions. This will include managing complex cases, administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and supporting patients through various treatments. You'll be a key part of the patient's healthcare journey, offering clinical expertise while providing compassionate, patient-centred care. Our A2 General Medical & Renal Ward is a fast-paced environment that offers plenty of variety, allowing you to expand your skills in a range of clinical settings.

About you: To be successful in this role, you will need:
Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.
New Zealand Nursing Council registration and a current Annual Practising Certificate.
Experience in general medical or renal nursing.
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Adaptability and resilience.
Commitment to continuous learning.
Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
