We are searching for a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dedicated A2 General Medical & Renal Ward team at Te Whatu Ora – Health New Zealand, Te Matau a Maui, Hawke's Bay.
As a Registered Nurse in this ward, you will provide high-quality nursing care to patients with a range of medical and renal conditions. This will include managing complex cases, administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and supporting patients through various treatments. You'll be a key part of the patient's healthcare journey, offering clinical expertise while providing compassionate, patient-centred care. About you:To be successful in this role, you will need:
Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.New Zealand Nursing Council registration and a current Annual Practising Certificate.Experience in general medical or renal nursing.Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Adaptability and resilience.Commitment to continuous learning.Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New Zealand:Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
