If so, we want you to join our dedicated 3 Waters team as a 3 Waters Support Officer.
About you At Whanganui District Council, we pride ourselves on our "Customer First" culture. We are looking for someone who is:
Friendly and approachable, even in challenging situations.Experienced in administration.Skilled in customer service with at least two years in a similar role.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate level) and able to manage data effectively.Strong communication and interpersonal skills in a collaborative environment.Naturally able to identify patterns and trends.About the Role: In this crucial role, you will provide essential administrative support within water meter administration and customer service. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our water, wastewater, storm water, and transportation services. Your primary focus will be ensuring the accurate and efficient administration of water meters, providing outstanding customer service, supporting operational activities, and carrying out administrative duties. Your efforts will directly contribute to the delivery of high-quality services to our community.
Key Responsibilities: Processing water meter information.Providing essential administrative support to the operations team.Serving as the primary interface between customers, contractors, and the team.Handling phone and email inquiries from customers in a professional and timely manner.Utilising a variety of information to offer accurate advice and services.Collaborating effectively within a team environment to enhance the customer experience.This permanent, full-time position (Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm) is based at our office at 179 St Hill Street, Whanganui.
