3Pl Warehouse Storeperson

3PL Warehouse Store Person  GVI Logistics is an International logistics provider handling the Import and Export of both Dry and Perishable Cargo by Air and Ocean, Customs Brokerage, Event Logistics and Third-Party Logistics.
We have a vacancy for a full time Warehouse store person to join our 3PL Team based at one of our Auckland Airport sites.
Workdays and hours will be set on a rostered basis, we require applicants to be flexible with work hours and days, on occasions weekend work may be required to meet customer demand.
You must have a clean criminal record and current class 1 car drivers' licence (Restricted or Full) and reliable means of getting to and from work.
A forklift licence is also preferable.
This position will predominantly be based in the 3PL Team in our Warehouse.
Previous experience working in 3PL store environments, order processing, picking and packing and using Warehouse Management Systems is preferable.
General warehouse duties including the checking in of import and export cargo, loading and unloading of air and ocean freight consignments and completing relevant paperwork for a range of commodities may also be required as a part of this role.
The person that we are seeking must be reliable, a team player, physically fit as there will be heavy lifting involved, they must have good awareness and knowledge of Health and Safety regulations, be honest, have good communication skills, be willing to accept responsibility and work hard.
Successful applicants will be required to undergo a Ministry of Justice criminal record check.
