We are looking for a talented individual to join us as a Retail Sales Kitchen, Lighting and Flooring 2IC (Second-In-Charge).
Reporting to the Retail Sales Manager, you will assist with the day-to-day running of the department through delivering excellent staff leadership, stock control, and customer service.
As 2IC you will take accountability for: Ensuring customers are the number one priority, receiving the high standard of service they deserve; Promoting a team culture that encourages a positive working environment; Assisting the Manager with stock management, displays, and general standards within your department; Contributing to the overall success of the store, actively supporting Company initiatives.
To be successful in this position you will need: A passion for customer service excellence; Proven staff management experience; Strong organisational skills, with the ability to think ahead and offer innovative solutions; Excellent communication skills; Good computer skills; Health and Safety focused.
Experience in a retail environment and product knowledge relevant to the area of responsibility would be a significant advantage.
Excellent time management skills are a must, as well as the ability to prioritise and get things done in a busy retail operation.
A good understanding and full appreciation of the importance of health and safety in the workplace is critical to the role.
This position is full time and worked Tuesday to Saturday, 9.30am - 6pm.
