This is a newly created position to support our current SENCo commencing in 2025.
Hingaia Peninsula School is a full primary school with a roll of 450 students from Y1-8.
We seek a highly effective and culturally responsive practitioner committed to supporting our students and their whanau. They will be able to build strong professional relationships with students, staff, and the wider school community, including outside agencies. The successful applicant will be in charge of running interventions with small groups, creating specific learning plans for our ORS students, and working alongside them while supporting SENCo with other needs in the school. They will demonstrate effective leadership skills and work effectively and collaboratively with the senior leadership team.
This position also has an ORS staffing component where you will work with our ORS funded students and teaching team.
